This story about a girl, Lidya
"Would you be my girlfriend?" Those words shoked me. I has flabbergasted. "Honestly, Lutfi .. I don't know. Its complicated."I replied."Please, Lidya .. I love you so much. You made me believe that love really exist. Therefore, I love you, Lidya." he seemed sincere.
Lutfi and I first met when he shifted schools. He entered my class and accidental sat beside me. At first, I thought that he was a boy with a big mouth and loved to make noises in the class. I often scold him for his outrageous behaviour.
Then, one day, he was sick. As his classmate, I was forced to visit him. When I arrived at his house, I was amazed. He lived in mansion! "DING! DONG!" I pressed the bell again and again but no answered. Then, I turned the door knob. It was unlocked.
With hesitation, I took a step forward and entered his house. "Heloo? Lutfi?" I yelled but didn't answer. There was nobody in the house. Where is everyone?
Suddenly, I saw a sign at a door that was written "Lutfi's room. Do not enter" I knocked at the door and it creaked open. "Go away!" yelled a sobbing sound from inside the room. I stood in front of the door for a brief while, then asked "Lutfi? Is it you?"
I took a step forward and saw that Lutfi was crying on his bed. "Go away, you fool!" he yelled again but I took a step forward and sat beside him. "What do you want? Just go away!" he shriek but I hugged him tightly. He was shocked.
"There, there Lutfi. Do not cry." I coaxed him and he sobbed even louder. I comforted him until he stopped crying. "Would you mind telling me your story?" I asked. "Its my mum. She left me for another man. I vowed that I won't fall in love because love doesn't exist.!" he exclaimed. "Love does exist, Lutfi. If your mother doesn't love you, she killed you when you're born. But she does love you. I'm sure that she won't left you because you are his son." words coming out from my mouth like a train. "I guess you're right, Lidya" he replied and continued "I think, I should think about it." "I think you should."
Back home, I was confused. "Why did I do too nice and coaxed him? It was all to sudden. Have I beginning to love him? Argh! Its complicated."
"You're sweet Lutfi but I can't accept you yet." I replied. "Ohh, okay." Lutfi walked away with a crushed heart. That night, I keep thinking. Did I love him? "You looked sad, why love?" asked mom. "How would you know that you're fallen in love?" I asked. "Easy, you keep thinking about him, your heart beating fast when you with him and you can't get him out of your mind." mom explained. "Uhh, I think the love symptoms has affected me."
The following day, it was very awkward for usto see each other. I could hear my heart was thumping loudly when he sat beside me. It was all to clear.
Then, I passed him a letter.
"Do you still love me?"
He replied,
"Forever!"
I wrote,
"Would you believe if I wrote that I love you?"
He replied,
"No. I'll believe if you say i to me, sincerely."
He smiled. I pulled him and whispered "I love you, Lutfi". He grinned and I blushed. He hold my hand tightly and mouthed "I love you too, Lidya."
Conclusion, love can occur anywhere, anytime. So, don't be afraid to love someone.
